Care and Concern Ministry | Meets Wednesdays Mornings
This team ministers to our members who are hospitalized, shut -in, or chronically ill. It is a visitation ministry, where we call or visit those in need. We meet Wednesday mornings for weekly review and prayer. If you feel called to show our love and concern for the ill, you are welcome to join us. Our mission is to nurture and care for our congregation and community in ODPC’s Body of Christ, to care for our members in body and spirit through wholistic care during illness and health. We ask that volunteers attend one of our periodic training sessions. This training will equip you with details on the volunteer duties, a handbook and handouts on various topics. Well Spring Cooks | Meets every other month
Is cooking your passion or do you like hanging out with fun people? If so, Well Spring has an opportunity for you! We are currently putting together teams to cook and pack To-Go freezer meals for church members who have recently had surgery, an illness, or are in need of meals short term. Purple Thumb Ministry |
We tackle basic chores or repair tasks that need to be done. This could be for elderly, widowed, or those members with health restrictions. If you need help, please let us know! To fill out a Help Needed Application, or find out how to join the crew as a volunteer, visit the Welcome Center desk on Sundays or church office during the week.
