“Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise” - Psalm 33:3.

Every Sunday morning at 9:15 our talented, dedicated “wholly devoted” contemporary worship team of singers, musicians and tech personnel call together the people of God to raise up the Name of the Lord! We at ODPC are uniquely blessed with a contemporary worship team consisting of many professional musicians who know that their gifts and very lives are utterly dependent on the grace of God in Christ. They understand leading worship is a privilege and try never to take for granted the presence of the Lord among His people.

Join us this Sunday at 9:15 or 11:00 am for energetic and heartfelt worship praising the God who invented music and sings over us!

“The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.”  - Zephaniah 3:17

ODPC Worship Team Purpose

To Lead the congregation in genuine heartfelt corporate worship declaring God is more desired than anything. We savor God’s worth, God’s beauty, God’s power and God’s wisdom glorifying His Name.

ODPC Worship Team Core Values

Joy: Members of the ODPC Worship Team should have a great attitude based on the great forgiveness God has purchased for us in Jesus Christ. Our motto is “Happy to do it!” in all things—cheerful and thankful to serve God alongside one another. “Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.” Psalm 126:2 2.

Lead: The guiding philosophy of the Worship Team is that the music is not as much performed by the musicians for the congregation, but rather led by the musicians and offered to God together with the congregation. “Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.” Psalm 115:1 3.

Excellence: God is honored when we bring Him our best. Therefore, music for the worship services takes commitment. The music is planned, practiced, and rehearsed which helps prevent distraction on the platform and in the congregation. “Sing unto Him a new song, play skillfully with a loud noise.” Psalm 33:3 4.

Faithfulness: Worship Team members must attend rehearsals, bible studies and worship services. We strive to be a tightly knit “herd” wholly devoted to following God and leading our church body to the throne of the Creator of the Universe every week. This is both an honor and a responsibility. We need to be worshippers in our 365 day, 24/7 ‘walking around lives” faithful to God and faithful to our team.

Integrity: Members of the ODPC Worship Team are in “front line” leadership within our church body and must be members of our church or pursuing membership. Our lives should exemplify obedience to God’s Word and have Holy Spirit led hearts willing to be corrected, trained and held accountable. We strive to have no hint of impropriety. “I urge you brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to ofer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship.” Romans 12:1
